I am a Ph.D. student in Political Science and Social Data Analytics at Pennsylvania State University. My research lies at the intersection of comparative politics, political behavior, and political communication. Before Penn State, I received an M.A. in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences from Columbia University and a B.B.A. in Economics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.
My work combines original social media data, computational text analysis, and survey experiments to study emerging computational propaganda strategies and how government media molds citizens’ political behavior in non-democratic contexts.
